Tufcoat were commissioned to deliver a large-scale multi-storey construction screen solution for a project in Ireland, working alongside John Paul Construction. The primary objective was to provide reliable weather protection within the building structure, enabling interior trades to continue work uninterrupted.
The challenge
The project involved installing shrink-wrap multi-storey construction screens across multiple levels of a complex building. Key challenges included:

Multi-storey construction screen results
During the project, the installed shrink-wrap construction screens were put to the test by one of the most severe storms Ireland has experienced in recent years. Despite extreme conditions, including record-breaking wind gusts reaching 183 km/h (114 mph), surpassing a previous 80-year record, the screens remained securely in place and sustained only minor damage. This real-world performance demonstrated the strength, durability and reliability of the system, providing further confidence in its ability to protect construction environments even under exceptional weather conditions.
