FAQs

Some Shrink Wrap FAQs from our customers:

How much does Tufcoat shrink wrap cost?

The price of Tufcoat shrink wrap varies depending on the type of film, specifications of the job and what service you require. Visit our product section for more information, or get a quick quote.

Do you use a flame powered heat tool?

For the most effective finish and ease of application we recommend using a propane heat gun. Where the use of an open flame is unsuitable, we can offer an electric powered alternative. Visit the heat gun section to find out more about our product range.

Where are you based and where do you operate?

Our main offices are based in the South West, along with our central warehousing. We also have an office in Stafford with additional distribution. Our products are sold worldwide and our installation teams work throughout the UK, but are also experienced in working overseas having delivered training programmes and installation services from France to Malaysia.

Can I install it myself or do you have teams?

If you’re looking to incorporate shrink wrap in to your existing business, Tufcoat can supply the materials and also deliver a bespoke training package to teach you the basic skills required. Attendees are then certified once training is complete. Alternatively, our expert installation team can provide a full supply and fit service, covering all aspects of your shrink wrap project from temporary roofs to final seal.

How long will it take to install?

The time it takes for the installation to be completed varies entirely on the type of project. A general rule is that you can expect approximately 100m² to be completed per man per day, which compared to CI sheeting is around 40% quicker. Make an enquiry to find out more information.

What other equipment do you sell?

Alongside our shrink wrap sheeting, we offer an extensive range of equipment to cover all your project’s needs, including: Heat guns, patch tape, zipped access doors and additional accessories.
